Calgary Regional Dance Company is an outstanding competitive dance team program. As part of the CRD Company, our students receive unmatched individual attention and quality of training. Each dancer is valued and our teaching team is committed to assisting them in expanding their potential athletically and artistically. Our dance program is designed for committed dancers ages 9+.
Dancers must audition to be part of the CRD Company. Our students work with specialized technical instructors and award winning choreographers in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet/pointe, acro, and various technique classes. We are able to generously serve our dancers through the distinctive qualities of our program, our professional expertise, and the caring environment within our school.
Season runs September-June with summer training strongly encouraged.
Dancers train four-six days per week depending on age, level, and individual requirements.
Students design their class schedule with our director to best suit their needs and dance goals.
As part of the CRD Company program, our students receive unmatched individual attention and quality of training.
Our students are driven and committed. We want them to excel through intensive training and life balance. We strive to create schedules that provide our dancers with classes scheduled during age-appropriate times and the correct frequency of training for each stage of development.
We compete as a group at 3-4 competitions each season, with options to attend more. Company Members are invited on an individual basis to prepare routines (solos and groups) for competition. Additional performance opportunities are also created for our team.
Dance exams in jazz, tap, and ballet are available through the studio, and are separate from the CRD Company Program. The CRD Company focus is developing technique and performing.
The prices listed below includes all rehearsals, music editing, and choreography fees.
Solos-$500
Duos-$375 per dancer
Trios and Quartets- $250 per dancer
Groups routines-$200 per dancer
*Prices may vary depending on whether or not you choose a local choreographer.
